Ph.D. Student
America Campillo is a fourth-year biological anthropology graduate student in the Ryan Lab. She is broadly interested in functional evolutionary morphology and biomechanics. Specifically, she uses experimental animal models to determine if changes in locomotor activity are related to changes in cortical and trabecular bone structure. She hopes to relate these experimental models to the evolution of bipedalism in humans.
